The short version

Wovin is built so your media never reaches us. Your library lives on your own server and streams directly between your devices and that server — it does not pass through our cloud, and we cannot see it.

What the cloud service handles

The optional cloud tier handles only sign-in identity, push notifications, connection signaling for reaching your server, and a directory of which servers you can access. It does not store your watch history or your media.
