Run the server on your hardware and set it up in the web portal. You’ll need a Wovin account and your own TMDb and TheTVDB API keys.

Your media stays on your storage and streams directly from your server to your player. It doesn’t take a detour through Wovin’s cloud.
A Wovin account is required to administer a server. Our account service handles sign-in and helps devices connect; it isn’t a relay for your movies and shows. Remote connections are HTTPS only, with a certificate Wovin issues to your server.

How the community works02 / The community database
Ratings, age certifications and readable genres come from the Wovin community database, built by Wovin servers. Your own TMDb and TheTVDB keys still identify titles and fetch artwork.
Where metadata comes from03 / Talk about it
Write a review or join the thread on a show, season or collection, right where you watch. Reviews are always shared, and kids’ profiles never see any of it.
